Woman Sees Something Strange in Her Dog’s X-Ray- Do You See It Too?

Elisha Bench took her six-month-old Staffordshire bull terrier Luna to the vet when she started vomiting and refused to eat or drink anything. Vets found that the dog had swallowed a two inch piece of a rubber chew toy which was stuck in her stomach. Thankfully, the pet made a complete recovery from surgery. When her owner looked at the X-ray she thought divine intervention may have helped her.Dog-Virgin-Mary-635722.jpg

Do you see what Elisha sees? The 22-year-old said: “When I’ve shown people the picture they’ve told me it looks just like the Virgin Mary. It was very weird seeing a face in the scan but equally it’s comforting to think that someone could have been watching over Luna in her time of need. I’m so pleased we have a copy as it’s a real mystery how and why there’s a ghostly figure in the middle of her X-ray. Luna was really sick when I brought her into the vets, I was absolutely terrified when I saw her violently throwing up. I thought she was going to die. We’re so thankful to the vets that saved her life and we will keep a close eye on her from now on.”

According to Elisha, Luna is happy and healthy and back to her normal self!

Mark Leddy of Clinic Director of YourVets24, where Luna had her operation, said: “We were delighted that Luna came through the surgery so well and we have been so pleased to see her back at the surgery back to her normal, happy self. We’ve never seen a face appear in an X-ray before, but we’ll certainly be keeping an eye out in the future.”
